GT-7, 1965, Prime/Back-up Crew ORIGINAL Polaroid Photo (7.5x4.25") This unique black and white photo was taken during the NASA crew photo session by Ed White's personal Polaroid camera. It shows the crew (Borman & Lovell) and the back-up crew (White & Collins) in a unique, unpublished parody of the official crew photo. Note the headgear. White is wearing a NASA "Photo Division" light reflector to simulate a coolie hat, Borman is dressed as a "Blues Brother", Lovell is wearing his naval cap and Collins has a nurses cap. It looks as if there is a base to a model on the table in front of them. The photo has a normal blue Polaroid film stamp on the reverse and the usual brown film stain on one edge. A unique, striking photo that is a piece of GT-7 history.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,000.
Ex. the Ed White Family collection.
