GT-3, 1965, Original Navy (?) Recovery Photos. This lot consists of a complete set of 340 different black and white photos (58x63mm.) in uncut strips of four (10x4"), showing the whole Recovery process from recovery of the astronauts by helicopter thru the recovery of the capsule by the recovery ship. Each photo in each strip is consecutively numbered on the negative. Some of the strips are marked on the negative : "Kodak 17 / Color Safety Film".
The first and last strips of photos are somewhat battered due to storage problems through the ages, but this series of photos is both virtually unique and probably never before publicly seen.
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,500.
