Representative Gerald Ford was one of the members appointed to the President's Commission and entrusted to determine what really happened in Dallas on that fateful day. Other members of the Commission, chaired by Chief Justice Earl Warren, were Senator Richard B. Russell, Senator John Sherman Cooper, Representative Hale Boggs, Allen Dulles, and John McCloy.
