Lot 366

Balance of Consignment. A diverse lot that includes a 1971 mock up of a Hammack report entitled "The Role of the Space Shuttle in the National Space Program". What is interesting about this report are the original color photos that have been pasted into it for illustration purposes. Also included are wedding invitations from John Glenn (for his daughter Carolyn Ann), James Lovell (for his daughter Barbara Lynn), and from Alan Shepard (for his daughters Juliana and Laura Louise), a 1959 blueprint entitled "Recovery Diagram for Atlas Ablation Shot", some space medallions (STS-3, International Aeronautical Congress 1997) and Apollo 11 plaques, a 1987 typed letter from James Lovell re his North Pole trip, 18 different NACA and NASA technical reports and flight reports, etc. A great, diverse lot.
Estimated Value $250 - 350.
Ex. the NASA Administrator Jerry Hammack Estate.
