STS-41C, 1984, FLOWN "Seeds". Lot of two packets of flown seed + two packets of "Earth-Based Seed" (Control Group) that were flown on the Long Duration Exposure Facility (LDEF) in space. The seeds were launched in April 1984 and returned to earth in January 1990. Lot also includes a letter from the Department of Agriculture about the seed and a Teacher's Guide and an Activity Book (Ages 5-9) to be used to teach about the seeds and space. A great unit for young and old. We believe that the seeds can still be planted and will germinate.
