Apollo Soyuz, 1985, Crew-Signed Presentation Plaque (7x7", on mat 16x20") This presentation plaque is signed by Stafford, Brand, Slayton, Leonov and Kubasov around a color photo of the bilingual flight emblem. ALSO included is a 16x20" certificate that reads: "The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and The Planetary Society commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project and honor its principal participants, George Lowe, Boris Petrov, Konstantin Bushayev, Glynn Lunney, Vance Brand, Valery Kubasov, Alexei Leonov, Donald Slayton and Thomas Stafford…Presented at the Steps to Mars Conference, July 16, 1985, Washington, DC". We don't know if these two pieces go together, but they were originally framed together so they probably do. A fascinating pair in mostly excellent condition.
