Apollo Soyuz, 1975, FLOWN Crew Patch. This 4" patch, sewn partially with gold thread, is mounted on a 1974 Robert McCall limited edition lithograph (professionally matted and framed to 24x20"). The NASA descriptive plaque, mounted in the lower center of the print reads: "Presented to the family of / Donald K. "Deke" Slayton / in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project, when East met West". This reproduction of Robert McCall's "Apollo-Soyuz Test Project" was commissioned by the NASA Art Program in 1974 in anticipation of the mission. The crew patch was flown on the historic mission, which took place from July 15 to 24, 1975". A rare and attractive piece of space memorabilia.
