Triceratops Lower Jaw Plus Teeth. This huge 17 x 8 inch lower jaw of the popular horned dinosaur is relatively complete, though fragmented, and is quite informative as to what dinosaur finds look like. Because most dinosaur finds in the 65-67 million year old Hell Creek Formation of eastern Montana occur in ancient water channels, the bones are usually broken and scattered. This lower jaw is a great example as it was found in dozens of pieces and then put back together like a prehistoric jig-saw puzzle. This impressive jaw stands on its own with the 9 x 3 inch section of the jaw that contained the teeth with several broken teeth visible. Also, three shed Triceratops teeth .75-1 inch long found in the same area are included with this lot. This is an opportunity to purchase a large impressive dinosaur jaw without spending thousands of dollars.

Add $30 for domestic shipping.
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,400.
