Moore, Archie. Gold Boxing Medals and Photo Album (1913-1998) Light heavyweight boxing champion (1952-59, 1961); only fighter to face both Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali. Still holds the record for most career knockouts (145).

Consists of an 18 kt gold fob holding seven 18 kt gold medallions, some with enamel inlays, given to Moore by Juan Peron, the Olympic committee, and other Argentinian officials between 1952 and 1954. Total weight approximately 130 grams all 18 kt yellow gold (4 troy oz.)

Also included: "Middle Weight Champion of the World / Souvenir of his visit to Buenos Aires, Sept. 1954." Archive consists of a fine leather bound and engraved album featuring 46 black & white photos taken during Moore's Argentinian tours in the early 1950's, including shots of Moore sparring in the ring, Moore engaging in local traditions, and several with Jack Dempsey. Never before offered.
