Bonds, Barry - 1992 Pittsburg Pirates Game-Used Jersey. The jersey is framed so that only the back, with "BONDS" on a white nameplate and the player number "24" is visible. A letter of authenticity from Grey Flannel Auctions, which accompanies the jersey and was written before the present owner had it framed, has the following information: "Inside the front left tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with washing instructions and jersey size "42" on it. Attached is a flag tag reading "SET 1 1992." Across the front of the jersey is "PIRATES." Below that and on the back is the play number "24". Across the back is "BONDS" on a white nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in black on gold tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Pirates" logo patch. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The jersey has been framed for display to an overall size of 37 x 40¼ in.
