"Pennsylvania National Guards of Philadelphia". Sepia-toned "View of the Rear Companies of the 1st Regiment," photograph by the U.S. Inst. Photo Co., 10 x 11½ in., c. 1880. Mounted on poster board with very wide margins. Featuring the march of the "Pennsylvania National Guards, of Philadelphia," with "Col. T.E. Weidersheim commanding." Key figures have been highlighted and retouched by a professional--who has added miniature portraits to many of the faces. Warped photo is very sharp and distinct. Listed as #102 in a series of images taken from the same parade.
