1795 Flowing Hair Dollar. 3 leaves beneath each wing. PCGS graded EF-40 CAC Approved, B-5, BB-27, Rarity 1. A refreshingly clean surfaced early dollar, one of the most advantageous order for a collector because the toning is smooth and even, balanced and attractive, with medium gray shading to lighter grade on the high points. Nicely detailed. Nicely struck, too, with just a small amount of weakness at the usual Achilles' heel on the center high points of the hair (more a feature of this design than anything else) (PCGS # 6852) .
