Lot 79

1807 C-1 R1. EF-40. Five points sharper with myriad extremely faint hairlines on the face and neck, none visible without a very strong glass. Otherwise the only defect is a tiny rim nick over the I in LIBERTY. Frosty chocolate brown and bluish steel with traces of tan in protected areas of the obverse. The surfaces are covered with attractive satiny flowline luster and the eye appeal is outstanding for the grade in spite of the trivial marks. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0. The reverse is rotated 15 degrees CW.
Estimated Value $400 - 500.
Ex Coin Galleries 8/20/86:2342-Don Valenziano 3/91.

Realized $518
