Lot 77

1806 C-4 R1 Large 6. EF-45. Frosty medium chocolate and steel with lighter greenish olive in protected areas, especially on the reverse. A spot of reddish brown toning at the base of the O in OF and a small splash of darker olive brown toning at the U in UNITED are the notable marks. Otherwise just a few trivial contact marks of no consequence. E-MDS, Manley state 1.0. The repunching on the 6 is complete and bold, and the reverse is rotated 55 degrees CW. The bust tip is well struck, which is quite unusual for this variety, but there is some weakness in the leaves below ICA.
Estimated Value $300 - 400.
Ex Don Valenziano 7/94.

Realized $449
