Lot 60

1804 C-9 R2. VF-30. Ten points sharper but the obverse was lightly cleaned and has a few very faint hairlines from the old cleaning. The rim from just right of the Y in LIBERTY down to off the bust tip was lightly smoothed to remove a few small rim nicks, and similar smoothing was done to the rim left of the lower curls. Frosty steel brown and chocolate. Nice eye appeal in spite of the minor defects. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0.
Estimated Value $200 - 250.
Ex Chris McCawley 4/91.

Realized $242
