1804 C-7 R4. VF-20. Spiked Chin. Five points sharper with a some light contact marks on both sides. None of the marks is distracting but there are a few too many for the sharpness grade. The surfaces are smooth, no hint of corrosion or verdigris. A dull diagonal nick over the T in CENT is the best identifying mark. Frosty bluish steel and chocolate brown. MDS, Manley state 4.0. The reverse die cracks are clear but the first of the cud breaks has not formed. The Spiked Chin die flaw is clear. Removed from an ANACS slab graded VF30 (ANACS label included, and it mentions the Spiked Chin feature).
