Lot 538

1843 N-15 R3. MS-60. Petite Head. Lustrous steel brown and light chocolate with traces of faded mint color remaining in protected areas. The surfaces are satiny and offer excellent eye appeal. No spots or stains, and a tiny diagonal hairline scratch in the field right of star 4 is the best identifying mark. E-MDS, die state a late. Tied for CC#4. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS65BN (NGC label included, and it shows the attribution).
Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000.
