1793/2 Washington Ship Halfpenny Breen-1225. NGC graded AU-50 Brown. Overdate 3 over 2. Frosty light olive and chocolate brown. No defects, only very light wear. Sharply struck EDS, and the overdate feature is visible at the base of the 3. A relatively rare early die state for this variety showing only minor swelling at the left top of the reverse under HALF. NGC population 5 with 17 finer.
