1892 Morgan Dollar. NGC graded Proof 65 Cameo. A beautifully well struck example that has only a hint of weakness above the ear of Liberty. Lightly toned at the rims with pleasing cameo contrast and impressive brilliant surfaces. The mintage of Proof Morgan dollars increased somewhat for 1892 when the Mint received orders for Proof sets at the booth it had set up at the World's Columbian Exposition held in Chicago that year. Still, only 1,245 Proofs minted. Pop 14; 44 finer (PCGS # 7327) .
