Mexico. Maximilian Empire 1864 Large Framed Bond. English language. Decree of 10 April 1864, 3% Interest Consolidation Bond in the amount of 100 Pounds Sterling, Series G No. 60,137. Black on pale green underprint, 10.5" x 17", in excellent condition, handsomely framed to allow viewing of front and back, the latter displaying a large coat-of-arms of the Maximilian Empire. A rare and very attractive bond.
