Mexico. Maximilian Empire. Order of the Mexican Eagle. A stage copy of a pinback breast star of the order, in silver and gold colored metal with red and green painted details, 92mm x 88mm. As Grove O-31, Extremely Fine, mounted on a small wood panel for hanging or display. Purportedly worn by actor Brian Aherne, who played Maximilian in the 1929 movie "Juarez". Also included is a black/white 8x10 photo (possible reprint) of Mr. Aherne in the costume of Maximilian for the movie. Total of 2 pcs.
