Leg: DASIVBELFEST/ MANIEUTBEGETA/ GOTTGEBSAVCH/DERPOSTERITAT/ *S.P.Q.R.* Reverse Candle above Bible on stand, banner at top. Leg: V.D.M.I.AE/ .DEN.XV.(S.B.) OCTOB: Struck to commemorate the Reformation. NGC graded MS-61.

This coin was struck to celebrate the Reformation in Germany. An indication of the importance the city attached to its Protestant status.
