Visigoths in Spain. Swinthila, 621-631 AD. Gold Tremissis (1.34 g), Cordoba mint. Rare. Facing draped bust; name around. Reverse: Facing draped bust; mint name, CORΔOBΛPYIS. Miles 226a, 9 (this coin). Excellent full strike. Faint crease seen in upper left field of obverse, otherwise a fine example with much luster in the fields. Gold lightly toned. Extremely Fine.
