Gazette of the United States, Philadelphia, Nov. 23, 1797. Complete original 22" x 13¾" newspaper containing inner page headline: "President's Speech" and the complete "next day" printing of the entire State of the Union message by Adams and signed in type by him. This is one of the first printings of the address -- if not the first -- as the Federalist supported newspaper was known for its access to government officials and for "scooping" other newspapers. Very good condition.
