NACA "CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT". This humorous 8x10" homemade and hand-signed certificate pokes fun at Jerome Hammack as he leaves NACA's employ to go to work for NASA Space Task Group. The bottom of the certificate reads, in red: "This certificate carries an honorarum that, upon presentation with one nickel, will entitle the recipient to one cup of coffee at Nancy's Coffee Bar". A better "retirement" present could not be wanted. The certificate is mounted on a card for presentation purposes. Aged, but striking. Dated July 1959, this is the first NACA certificate this writer has encountered in about 30 years in the space memorabilia business.
