1963-1973, 75-76, 1991-2, Deke Slayton's Personal Daily Pocket Planners. An unbelievably important series of yearly planners, broken into monthly segments with daily planning pages in individual spiral notebooks (3x6"). Daily notations are in pencil or ink and include all of his appointments, meetings, etc (ie. David Clark, spacesuit fitting, notes on TV interviews, training, etc). While many notes are brief/cryptic, others are quite extensive and insightful. There are probably over 5,000 pages included in this lot. Unique.
Given that Deke was at the epicenter of the Gemini, Apollo, ASTP, ALT and Shuttle Programs, these pages give you a unique insider's view of the evolution of the US space program from one of the only such vantage points possible.
