Aviation Model, "X-1, Glamorous Glennis" Model Aircraft (17x14") This 1/32 scale Philippine model is mounted on a rectangular wooden base with a metal descriptive plate that reads, in part: "Bell X-1, Rocket Research Plane, piloted by BGen. Charles E. "Chuck" Yeager USAF (Ret.). Gen. Yeager has signed his name on the top of the right wing. Yeager's flight broke the sound barrier for the first time. An attractive model signed by the man who made it happen. A printed certificate of authenticity signed by Gen. Yeager is included as is a color photo of him actually signing the model.
