STS-1, FLOWN United States Flag & Crew Patch. Mounted on a two part presentation board (16x20") with the flag at top (12x7.5") and an presentation card, bearing the Crew Patch, below. The card reads: "This flag and patch were flown aboard the Space Shuttle "Columbia" (STS-1). April 12-14, 1981 / Presented to Donald K. Slayton from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. It is signed by astronauts John Young and Bob Crippen". Minor faults and glue stains on the flag should not detract. We have not seen a similar type of Presentation Card before.
