Shuttle Program, FLOWN United States Flag (6x4") This flag is mounted on a multicolor presentation card (framed to 12.5x15.5") that reads, in part: "This flag was flown aboard the Orbiter 101 during the Approach and Landing Tests / Special Award - Approach and Landing Test Program / Presented by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to Donald K. Slayton / in recognition of your outstanding contributions…." The certificate appears to be hand-signed by NASA Headquarters in June 1978, but with printed autographs of Haise, Fullerton, Engle and Truly. A nice piece of memorabilia from a forgotten part of the Shuttle Program.
