Apollo Soyuz, 1975, Russian "Apollo Soyuz" Medal. This blue and gold enamel medal is mounted on a blue and yellow ribbon. It is in its original blue leather/plus presentation case and includes a matching lapel pin (without the ribbon). The medal depicts the Apollo Soyuz Spacecraft against a sky blue background as they approach their historic docking and is numbered 0333 on the reverse. We have not located the matching ID card for this medal nor have we any other info on it. About all we can say is that as it was presented to astronaut Deke Slayton, it must be an important medal. If we do locate the ID card and/or additional information about this medal, they will be passed along to the buyer in due time.
Estimated Value $750 - 1,000.
Ex. the Donald "Deke" Slayton Estate collection.

Realized $1,093
