Apollo Soyuz, Misc., Deke Slayton's "Resolutions & Awards". An interesting lot of seven plus different including 1) a Resolution by an Ohio State Senator welcoming Deke as a 1996 into the Aviation Hall of Fame, 2) a Proclamation from the Mayor of League City, TX (his residence) congratulating "Deke" on his induction into the Aviation Hall of Fame, 3) a 1962 City of Houston Appointment of Deke as an Honorary Citizen and a Goodwill Ambassador. 4) a 1961 Appointment by the State of Florida honoring Deke with Honorary Citizenship, 5) a hand illuminated Award to Deke by the 1965 Wisconsin State Easter Seal Campaign, 6) an undated Certificate of Merit by the National Amvet Auxiliary awarded to MRS Donald K. Slayton and 7)A Gold Record by Charles Buckley from the Nashville (TN) Area Chamber of Commerce - singing, "We're glad you came", "Please come back again", etc. An interesting lot with some age stains and faults. A great addition to any collection.
