APOLLO 11, 1969, PRESIDENT RICHARD NIXON AUTOGRAPH. President Richard M. Nixon (Congratulations !), Tom Paine ("Well Done") and Adm. John McCain, CinCPAC (Marvelous) autographs on the cover page of the NASA Apollo 11 "Recovery Requirements" checklist. The piece was undoubtedly signed onboard the USS Hornet when all three men (plus the consignor) were together for the landing of the Apollo crew. The consignor was Director, Landing and Recovery Division for the Apollo flights at the time. A great piece of memorabilia signed by the representatives of the three key constituancies represented that day (ie. the American people, NASA and the US Navy). A unique and important piece of memorabilia.
