Apollo 11, Buzz Aldrin's Autographs. On a variety of Ski memorabilia that he has worn over the years. Included is a Competitor's badge and "Roots" Lanyard from the January 2004, "Fairmont", Banff Springs (Alberta, Canada) Sports Invitational (signed in red); the red, white and blue plastic "Bib" he wore in the Merrill Lynch Celebrity Ski Classic Pro Am at Deer Valley, UT in December 2004 (signed in black) and the black/white cloth "Bib" he wore in a Countrywide/Budweiser, Vail CO) ski race (date?) Aldrin's name is in an ID slot on one side and someone else's name is on the other side (they skied as a team? Piggyback?). Anyway, Aldrin has signed his side in red. Last, but not least, is a pair of old (?) brown leather ski gloves with wool insides. These are well used but in excellent shape. Aldrin has signed both gloves on the wrist. In all, there are five autographs in this lot which is sure to warm the heart of any winter sport or space buff.
