APOLLO IX, 1969, FLOWN United States Flag (6x9") The flag is mounted on a NASA presentation certificate (10x12", framed to 12x14") that reads: "This flag was carried in space during the flight of Apollo IX, March 3-13, 1969". The certificate is HAND signed and inscribed: "To Ludy, Many thanks for all of your help both before and after the flight. With your talent you are always able to make our pictures look good - No matter how they were taken. Our sincere appreciation - James A. McDivitt, Dave Scott Rusty Schweickart". Hand-signed/inscribed certificates are rarely seen.
