A fascinating 1962 letter from Hugh Dryden, NASA Deputy Administrator on NASA letterhead stationery that states, in part: "I take pleasure in presenting to you your share in the award of $4,200 made jointly to you and your co-inventors, for the invention of the Project Mercury Space Capsule…". Quite unusual and a fascinating historical document.
