Mercury Program, Misc, Deke Slayton's "WINGS" Plaque (12x5") These bronze colored wings are mounted on a rectangular wooden plaque (15x9") with a descriptive plaque that reads: "Major (USAF Ret.) / Donald K. "Deke" Slayton / NASA Astronaut". They were probably presented to Slayton as part of his USAF retirement party. A great addition to any collection.
