1936 Febuary 25, Greenwood Lake, NY, Flown Cover & Cards. An attractive lot that includes a cover franked by a green rocket stamp tied by a violet flight cachet AND a card franked by a red rocket stamp tied by a green flight cachet. Both card and cover are signed in green by rocketeer Willy Ley. ALSO included is a similar card franked by a red rocket stamp, but not tied by a flight cachet and also not signed by Willy Ley. Mints sheets of four of the green and the orange rocket stamps are also included. It is unaddresed also. E-Z No. 8A1a, A2a, C1, C2, C2var., 1996 cat. = $225.
