1934 December 17, Saugor Island Flown Rocket Cover. This brown cover has a red/white "Shore to Ship by Rocket" rocket stamp in the upper left and tied by a maroon Semaphore Station cancel. The cover is signed by W. Shenton, Lighthouse keeper on the face at the lower left and by rocketeer Stephen Smith on the reverse. Only 150 covers were flown. E-Z No. 7C1, 1996 cat. = $375.
