Three Unhatched Dinosaur Eggs In Partial Nest. The eggs remain in the same position on the 17 x 12 inch red limestone matrix where they were deposited by their mother Duckbill dinosaur 70-80 million years ago in China's Henan Province. What makes the nest exceptional is the quality of the eggs, with each having between 80-90 percent of their original shells. In terms of size, the eggs are as large as Duckbill dinosaurs get, measuring 6.5 x 6 inches. We cannot be sure of their particular species as no embryos have ever been found in eggs of this shape in China. However, similar oval-shaped eggs found in the U.S. have contained embryos identifying them as Duckbills. Dinosaur eggs in general are becoming more difficult to locate and completely original, untouched partial nests are in great demand.
