Spinosaurus Tooth And Toe. Made famous in "Jurassic Park II" as the dinosaur that killed a T-Rex, the enormous theopod dinosaur Spinosaurus is easily identified by the huge sail on its back. Despite its prominent image, however, it remains enigmatic as no skeleton has ever been found in an even close to complete state. Spinosaurus is mostly known from its teeth which are fairly common, but usually broken or ugly. This large 3.5 inch tooth is a lovely brown color with a 1.25 inch root. Its end shows some slight natural wear from use when the dinosaur was alive. Also included is a rare 3.7 inch long foot claw with complete tip, along with a 2 inch long toe bone. The toe claw has equally excellent blood grooves and bone structure. Claws are much rarer to find than teeth as teeth could be replaced unlike claws. This 80 million year old dinosaur was found in the Kem Kem Valley near Taouz, Morocco and the Algerian border. These museum quality fossils are housed in an 8 x 6" Riker mount.
