Austria, Art Nouveau Vase by Amphora. Late 19th-early 20th century, 14" high by aprox. 11" wide, with partially gilt iridescent and multi-colored glazes, decorated in a grape vine and leaf design. Marked at bottom "Amphora Austria" with a blind impressed crown and indistinct numerals. We note a minor chip to one leaf and normal age appropriate wear, otherwise very good condition. This striking specimen would benefit greatly from a gentle cleaning which will bring out the lovely colors and gilding.
