Great Britain. Handsome 18th Century Silver Tankard. A George III period tankard, 8 3/4" high and 4 3/4" at the base with a gilt interior. Decorated on the lid and body with floral designs. By William Grundy with his maker mark at bottom along with three London hallmarks for 1793-94. Just above the base in a panel, an engraved initial "E", likely for the original owner. Excellent condition with lovely light age tone and color.
