Christie, Keith. Bronze Horse Sculpture, 1975. A striking bronze 10½" tall, 13" long sculpture of a horse in full saddle with bit, bridle, and attached wire reigns. The stately animal has calm, gentle appearance and the overall detailing of its body and gear is intricate. The horse's legs extend to a textured bronze base into which the artist's name, the date, and its 15/50 edition are etched. Mounted on an 11¾" x 1¼" x 5½" polished gray-green marble foundation.
