Masterful Ivory Carving From China, 20th Century. What a skeleton clock is to horologists, a "magic globe" ivory is to master carvers. These globes of cradled, intricately-fashioned spheres are enhanced by two dragon-decorated bases. The largest globe is 4½" in diameter. Remarkably, there are no chips visible. Condition is superb. Height: 23¼"; Diameter of Base: 5¼".
