Dali, Salvador. 18" x 12½" print features a female figure with several drawers on her torso, signed by Dali in pencil, n.d. Several of Dali's other works also featured women with drawers, including Burning Giraffe (Woman With Drawers) (1936-37) and the sculpture Venus de Milo with Drawers (1936). Dali once remarked that the drawers correspond to the presence of the human subconscious, a concept he drew from the works of Sigmund Freud.
