1949 Celebrity Autograph Album. The book belonged to Beverly Horn, who was president of the Gloria De Haven fan club at Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles. Most of the autographs were obtained in 1949; some are signed on the page, others are affixed and stained from old tape. Lower edge of pages has notations where and when autographs were obtained. Condition is fair to very good. Signatures include: Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Ethel Barrymore, Carmen Miranda, Amanda Blake, Fredrick March, Nancy Davis (the future First Lady), Lana Turner, William Powell, Gilbert Roland, Gloria Swanson, Gloria De Haven, Vincent Minnelli, Billie Burke, Ava Gardner, Betty Grable, Joel McCrea, Stewart Granger, Eddie Cantor, Joseph Cotton, William Powell, George Burns, Mario Lanza, Mervyn LeRoy, and others.
