Various. [Group of Four German Children's Books]. (1) Ein Wintermarchen by Ernst Kreidolf, Erlenbach- Zurich: Rotapfelverlag, 1924, 10¼" x 12½", 16 pages of text and 16 color illustrations by Kreidolf. Joints are cracked and boards are rubbed; interior is toned but still delightful. (2) Til Eulenspiegel, Vienna: Kunstverlag Anton Schroll & Co., 1920, 9" x 7", 133pp plus table of contents. No. 25 of a limited edition of 100 signed by the artist Oskar Laske; 24 original lithographs and 31 black and white drawings. Leather boards worn, joints cracked, spine badly damaged, but interior is only lightly toned. Gift inscription on front endpaper. (3) Münchhausen. Seine Reisen und Abenteuer, by F.D. Mund, art by Willy Planck, Stuttgart: Loewes Verlag Ferdinand Carl, c. 1920, 10" x 8", 140pp. Covers rubbed and toned; spine cracking. (4) Die Maienliesl, by Paul Rainer, pictures by Annie Engelmann (Suska), Reichenberg: Stiepel Gesellshaft, 11¼" x 8¾", c. 1920, 28pp. Boards worn and scratched; some soiling but pictures vivid. (4 items).
