Sewel, William. History of the Quakers. Large oversize edition of the famed Quaker work, 12¾" x 8". 716pp, plus an addenda and extensive index. Published in London, printed and sold by J. Sowle, 1722. An in-depth study of the Quakers from 1513 to 1717. The majority covers William Penn, George Fox and other early members of the Society of Friends. Professionally re-bound in marble board covers and a Morocco leather gold-stamped spine. Normal light margin edge toning and occasional tone spotting in margins throughout.
