Composite Cased Early 3rd Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. #6645, all matching (1851). 7.5" .36 caliber octagon steel barrel with modified addition of rear site and marked on the top flat "Address Saml.Colt New York City". Frame marked "Colts Patent". Trigger guard and back strap have approximately 40% original silver plating remaining and approximately 10%+ cylinder scene remains. Grips are solid with normal age scratches and dings from years of handling. All steel is muted gray with no original finish. Action is good. Original (restored) "Colt London" case with correct English light green baise (worn and stained in places) has been married to the gun. Accessories include cap tin with caps, brass bullet mold, bag-shaped flask by "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield", and original box key.
