British Military 3rd Model Brown Bess Flintlock Musket With Bayonet. Regimentally marked with a broad arrow in a circle (20th battalion Granville Militia) and "20 B. Granville. M" on left side of stock comb using burn branding method. 39" .75 cal. round steel barrel with Tower proof and view marks on left side of breech retains an untouched deep brown age patina. Regulation brass furniture retains an untouched olive patina. Lock marked "Tower" on tail of lock plate, with a crown over "GR" (King George III) and another small crown over a broad arrow (government ownership mark). Stock is marked, with storekeeper's stamp on right side of comb and a crown over a broad arrow over the date "1805". The stock has an old repair through the lock mortise, but remains solid with normal age scratches and dings from years of service. The ram rod is a later replacement.
